not sure mate. but a friend of mine has a ba xr8 auto ute. it has been fiddled with and has 20 inch mags on it, it gets around 200 k to a tank with 'spirited' driving.
not sure what he gets out of it now, id imagine its better than that now.
how many litres is the tanks on em?

I get between 400-550 to a tank in my XR8, but as you have stated when cruise control is on, the economy is substantially better.
They are just so hard not to give em a bit when manual tho'

80L tanks in the utes vs 68L for the sedans. 620km does sound pretty good but I guess it could be done if you drive like a granny.. but in that case why do you have a 5.4L V8!

i get about 400-450 (city) in my 3v. its easy to get good economy with em when you dont have to stop/start alot, when your in traffic you just watch it go up :|

I have a 2003 BA XR8 5spd manual sedan. On highway driving I get around 620k's to the tank. One would hope a ute gets more than that considerong the tank is 20 litres bigger.
