nah not that hard to get a hold of can put you in contact with a couple of ppl that supply them if ya want. Not expensive either for instance you can get a set of 18" wires with tyres for $2250, or keep it old school with 13's for around the $1200 mark.....

Or even go 22's for around $4,000-$4,500

Was that 3 days inculding the door jams?? It's taken me almost 5 to do the jams on my car :/

Nah , I cheated on the door jams...

I am going to go back and paint them at a later date with a smaller aerosol spray pack... the local paint guys can mix directly into the cans for me... bit more expensive , but a hell of a lot easier in small spaces like that... especially if you dont pull out the interior like i didn't.

The only real way to do it , is to remove the doors.

Looks sweet mate!
Had one living across the road from me. This one was silver, dumped on BA XR's (i think or could be GT's) and also had a side skirt.
Looked really good! Good tint on it also. Thought about getting a side skirt for it? Just an idea :)

Hey doofus ,

Mate , I dream of skirts and bibs for my old girl everyday... but can't seem to get em anywhere...

I even tried guys who do Limo skirts , but no luck... I can get custom made ones , but they are worth more than the car... hahaha

So , as always , if you have any leads for me , will be happy to follow em up...

Thanks Buddy.

Lol yeah, i know what you mean mate!
Well, ive sorta done some digging in my piccy's folder, and ive come up with this.
Best example i could find. EF/EL GTO Kit im guessing..
The skirt would suit you're car nicely!

(Appologies to the owner of the car, but its the only one i could find :( )

Yeah , I have seen similar to this... only problem is that they are about 8 inches too short...
The old fairy box cars have the good ol stretched chasis , which is great for ride comfort , even when shes dumped , but no-one makes the extended skirts... Even a rare station wagon skirt doesn't fit..

So am going to try and find something like this , cut it in half , and possibly fibreglass an extension into the middle to suit...

I am always looking for a challenge anyway... so we shall she what happens...

Hi Ben ,

Yes , that was the first thing I got when i went shopping at the wreckers.. a big a** shiny LTD grille...

Now it looks good with the big a** shiny 18's and rubber bands...

HERE ARE THE PHOTOS BELOW.... Can't ya tell IM EXCITED.... hahahaha

NExt mission is window tinting , and a cruise to Newcastle guys !!!!

Oh , by the way Ben , 17 & 18 wheels are good , but if you don't buy Pre_Au wheels , then you will have to get 35mm Bolt on Adaptors. Dont try and use spacers , because they are illegal and extremely dangerous...
At least dont go any less than 25mm adaptors otherwise you will get rubbing problems on the inner bits...

Dude ,

All you really need is a structure to park it in and some plastic sheeting.

I used a carport , and just hung plastic sheeting all around it to keep the wind out , and it worked great. The plastic also keeps the heat in too which allows the paint to cure quicker , so less chance of dust etc.

Snickers00 did his like this as well , except he lined the inside of his shed with plastic , and he did a pearl coat which is even harder to do than acrylic.

Or , you can just shop around and see who is doing a really good job amongst your local panel beaters...

In My opinion , you have got the best coloured car... Just touch up the scratches with white colour match spray cans , and you can avoid the whole respray thing all together...
