hey i haqd 3.9 gears in my manual EA/B and it was fairly driveable but lots of shifting in traffic and too much wheelspin even whan ya try not to,in the el xr6 would it be ok to go 3.7's or should i just fix up the 3.45's?i want to drag race it(legally)aswell as street drive it.3.9's were way to much for a manual

y not start in second in trafic? i do this when lazy? with 3.9's itdd be even easier and you keep a better ratio for the drags

What is more important to you? Driving longer distances with less fuel, less engine wear & less noise or a couple of tenths saved when driving for less than a 1/4 of a minute in a straight line?

wouldn't the benefits be a bit better than 2/10th's of a second?
