Hey, i have a 95 Ford Falcon Futura
My aircon works a treat, but the heater doesnt? any ideas Thanks |

Does the car ever get into the "normal" temperature range? Probably the thermostat is jammed open. This will also cause piss poor fuel economy

most likely the heater tap is jammed or even possibly the heator core is blocked
Try manipulating the heater tap (you can reach it under the car on the left hand side, put the passenger wheels on a gutter and crawl under) its a valve with a vacuum line on it between the motor and firewall.) also could be a vacuum leak inside/outside the car... can you hear any hisses? hope this helps a lil

Yeh hissing when the aircond is on and off, the only way it will stop is if i turn the aircon off and move the cold temp wheel to half way? if that makes sense!
I might have to have a look when i get home.. How do i fix it? |

A quick simple test for the heater tap operating and or the heater core blocked it to check the difference temperatures for the heater core input and output hoses. If one is hot and the other cold its either tap or blockage.
