speaking of tiny plug gaps, we had an apprentice working with us for a while, he was doing a set of plugs in a courier on gas... he was told, or looked up the correct gap, it was .8mm...

so after hes gapped the plugs, put it back together and found it didnt run, he was a bit puzzled..

we removed the plugs for a look, and found he had somehow gapped them a .008"

miss-reading his feeler gauge caused him a lot of stuffing around, and a red face, and gave us a hell of a laugh...

I require this due to LOW compression...27 dish pistons / 61 cc heads = 7.8 compression with .032 copper head gaskets....
Low comp is good for making safe power at higher boost levels,, But if you want torque at low rpm then heaps of advance can be added in my case.. I had std dissy with MSD A6L box with Blaster coil... BUT with up to 50* advance and 20* spark dwell with MSD we where having issues with spark crasover in distributor cap...
With wasted spark, pre stage or launch control is easier to set up....With lower compression and boosted there is far more air flowing though engine which blows spark out!!!
