I have a EB 4 speed auto, the problem is that it seems to lack power on take off. The revs just don't seem to be there. And it loses power easily when going up a hill etc, but will be alright once its up to speed. Can anyone give me an idea on what could be the problem? Which sensor/ sensors would cause that? Could it be the transmission?

Hey Fox, welcome to the site!! Enjoy your stay!

Well, that sounds like it could be a number of problems.

Firstly, check all your plugs...they can often be the culprit. A good service may be in order! (Air filter, oil the works!)

Unlikely to be the gearbox.

One other thing which would do exactly as you say would be a blocked/calapsed catalytic converter. These will absolutely kill any type of performance. If its the original one its got a high chance it may be on its way out!

Hope some of my dribble helped anyway!

Plugs have been replaced, I've had a brand new cat put on about 4 months ago, air cleaner is fairly new, the oil has also been changed after I put the new head on it - And that is actually when the problem started. Nothing has been left off, and I'm pretty sure everything was put back and connected in its right place.

The fuel filter was replaced about 6 months ago as well. I think I also forgot to mention that the car does this only when warm...
