They are an excellent shock. I prefer them over Bilstein. Better ride in my opinion.

Depends what ride type you are after. Konis to me a little stiffer and tend to feel the road more through your pants because they are stiffer.
Bilsteins offer a smoother ride than Konis and this is what shocks are all about really, taking the bumps so you dont have to feel it and giving your car a nice smooth ride. They only rebound once from a big bump which is great (I had them in my EL Fairmont Ghia V8).
I prefer Konis however because I want to feel connected to the road and not the car and feel the bumps a little more. Soudns strange but thats just me.
I have no problem with either Konis or Bilsteins I would just say pick your ride type and choose the appropriate shock.

another good option is SPAX adjustables.. comparable for price too, they are a big brand in the UK but because they are not huge here you can usually pick em up a little cheaper.

KYB also make a pretty good adjustable too..

Have had Koni's before and I will have them again, I think they are good for the $$.. as you can tell I have had a few different adjustables over the years, so Koni's are a pretty educated choice

Be careful when you 'adjustables' - both the Red and Yellow Konis (Koni Sport) are adjustable, difference is the Reds need to be removed from the car and the Yellows can be adjustable while installed. Also note that they're only adjustable for rebound.

Now to answer your question. I've got the Yellows in my EF and they're worth every cent - they've transformed the car.

If your just using them for street, why spend soo much money on shocks? there only good for 1- adjusting the rebound, and 2 the oil wont heat as much as standard and cause leaks. standard ones / boge/ kyb wont hold aswell on a track but compete to the same level on road, My opinion would be go a cheaper shock unless you want to do some track work or your a heavy footed driver.
