Lately it seems my boot popper function isnt working, i hit the button it makes the "tick" sound but the boot doesnt pop up, this is bad because i cant find the boot unlock key... Is this a common problem as my dads is rooted too.

How do i fix it?

back on topic, get someone to hold the boot release button in and see you can open the boot. if this is the case, replace your boot struts - they haven't got enough guts left in them to push the boot up a fraction when it is released!

if it ticks, but doesnt lift, good chance your motor is rooted and only pulls at 50% replace with a new one it should work.

before you do these things remove the actuator(the bit that pulls) with the wires still attached give it a sharp hit with a screwdriver handle or something, sometimes they just seize in there and a hit frees them
