just bought a ef xr6 engine to go into my ea, i have read somewhere that the el ecu plugs into the early e series....is that true?? is just as easy as plug in and go???
i know the ef's are coil pack and i have a dizzy to go in the engine, i have twin thermos already...its just the ecu...because there are better maps on the later model ecu's than the ea one....and then i can also pick up the bbm point on the el ecu and keep the bbm on instead of the log.. can anybody help me?? |

ea and el are different ecu's.....
ea has seperate ecu for the transmission where as EL's are built into the ECU. to run the bbm would have to change whole wiring loom possibly (not sure on this point) or easy way would be to drop engine in running EA manifolds etc
