I might consider the camber kit....
Some say get one, others say not necessary for "lows"... How much is the kit anyway..? Is it a hassle to install later, or best to do at the same time..?? (confused again...) |

Get the CAMBER kit as it makes driving MORE FUN
And no labour costs as everything is OFF the car while shocks & springs are changed.

i think a camber kit is a must..
your car will handle better and your tyres will last longer.. has anyone seen a camber kit fitted to the bottom bolts?? i have a kmac one on the top but it also has camber bolts in the bottom. when i took it to get a wheel alignment they said they have never seen a falcon with lower camber bolts! |

OK..have the camber kit now as well.
Just waiting to get the gear installed, hopefully in the next week or so. Thanks everybody for the advice and tips. This has been a good learning curve for me. Although I'm not doing the install myself, I do like to learn about and understand what is actually being done with all the associated parts. Cheers. |

I was quoted $202 total retail for the camber kit
(both sides), but managed to get it at $140 as the guy who did the install gets trade prices on the gear and the saving was passed on to me.... Last edited by EB92 on Sun Oct 01, 2006 7:53 am, edited 1 time in total. |

Should be worth it... Last piece of advice I had regarding kits was that its 50/50 (for lows) whether one is required or not, depending on how worn existing parts are etc. Thus a kit will enable the wheel aligner to have good margins to get the setup just right at the front. |
