I've just picked up the new beast, a BAII Fairmont Ghia.

My question is, how the hell do you turn the fog/driving lights on?

There is no button on the left of the steering column where the book says it should be...........

If there is no another way to do it in the ghias, has anyone come across there not being a button in another car.

Cheers,

i think you'll find they are just cornering lamps. bung on your headlights and turn your indicators on and see if one lights up...

turn them into foggies, the cornering lamps just look weird, looks like youve done a globe, on a new car yuk.

when they first came out they were on as driving lights, bit there were some legality issues with it, so ford changed them into cornering lamps.

if they're anything like the cornering lamps on the e series, it would be very simple to wire them up to your parkers so they come on with your headlights.
