Thanks for that mate :)

Also i was reading the doco http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=24

In it there is a section to add footwell lights. I have a GLi and could someone explain in more detail if you have to split the wires in the conector for it to work? Also i have the rear vent loom and light so could i just wire the lights to that?

yes you could wire it to the centre console light. having watched a mate do it, its a very simple thing to do.

made even easier by the fact the footwell light holders are already there :D

So i take it that you have to split the wire on the rear vent light for the footwell lights to work? So the 2 positive wires from the 2 footwell lights to the positive wire in the rear vent light wiring, and 2 negative from the same lights wires to the same negative wire in the rear vent light wire?

Is this the right procedure, or do you have a better way?

Also what wire should i use, like 5amp wire for example?
