ok i got a hold of a TAIT UHF CB 2nd hand dirt cheap. Anyway a bought a wiring kit from an electonics shop labeled tait 2000 series car installation kit.

On the power supply plug you have the following

Red-positive
Black- negative
a yellow shorting wire
a thin black twin wire.

Does the external speaker connect to the thin black twin wire coming from the back of the plug. Both ends have small male plastic adaptors so they don't click in?
