My power steering belt keeps coming off. I replaced the idler pulley and it fixed it for a few hundered k's then come off again. Replaced the belt 5 times now as it has either cracked severly or snapped. Thought the power steering resevoir maybe outta line but definatley isnt. Don't know what the go is. Has anybody else had the same problem?

this was happening to me when i did up the ea,i kept trying different brands,i put a ford one on and it hasn't come off for a year,i didnt change idlers or anything

I also had the same problem. Kept buying Bosch belts from supercheap and they would only last a few weeks. Bought a belt from repco (can't remember the brand) and it hasn't come off since.
