Afternoon all

Just after a little help.

Im replacing a stripped wheel stud on the front of my EF xr6. I have the rotor off, how do i remove the ABS ring to get at the studs?

I dont think you touch the ABS ring,aint it at the back,you have to go from the front,nut, bearings etc,then tap it out???

vik...not sure,mines an XY,ABS :shock: WTF is that :roll: :roll: :roll:

you need to remove the abs ring and then hit it from the front to push it back out. in reverse to put in new one.

i don't know whether you can re-install the abs ring properly though, or even get it off without damaging it.

the ring is just a jam fit in the rotor so you pull or punch it out.
