just wondering if there are any different TCMs for example are the EA one same as seires on EB or EBII or ED cause i just replaced on in my eb falcon, the one i pulled out was in limp mode and the new one i put in only goes 1,2,3 no fourht no kickdown, just wondering if there are any differences, and if ford changed any thing with the 4speed box, EA,EB,ED

Did you fit an EA-EB1 ECU? Being that these models have 3 speed boxes I doubt the ECU would know to go into overdrive (4th).

3 speed autos are not controlled by the tcm - they are hydraulic.
Are you sure its a problem with TCM and not the gearbox?

there is no problem with the gearbox UNLESS the s5 solenoid is f**k or the kickdown switch, inhibitor switch or some is f**k.

the EA 2 3 and eb 1 all have 4 speed box only the ea1 have a 3speed
