I am about to replace the ball joints/tie rod ends on the EB and would like to know what is a good brand that can be recommended.

You can get genuine but i used Roadsafe. Under half the price of genuine and im sure they will last until i sell the old girl. If you're doing tie rod ends be sure to check the rack ends (steering rack) you can access them by peeling back the larger end of the steering boot (cut the strap) and check for play with engine running and a mate moving the steering wheel back and forth. Usually the lower ball joint goes first and its a job u cant do on your own. Pedders can press in the new ball joints for around $60.

Thanks for your reply joolz I was begining to think others don't use ball joints/ tie rods on thier cars :) I called peps and they said they have a variety of brands in stock to choose from, Yeah I will definitely check rack ends, I m thinking of just getting a reco rack though.

If the rack is fine and not leaking just replace the rack ends if worn, for a pair it should cost you around $45 but genuine ford $47 each!

Yep roadsafe are the ones, look pretty cheap made in Taiwan, as long as they last a few kms!
