ok im gonna sound like a total noob.
but whats the difference between a long and a short engine?

my fathers telling me a long engine includes all the transmition and stuff but i think he might be wrong

long engine wont include trans.

it will include the head though. depending where you get it you may be luckily enough to wangle a manifold but nit usually.

short engine is just a block with pistons/crank in it.

if anyone disagrees/has any other ideas feel free to correct/comment

sometimes long motors have the accesories with it too such as alternatior, etc... but yea short motor is just block, pistons and crank
