i was just wondering if anyone would b interested if i did a doco on how to change your backlight from orange to what ever colour?

i think its already been done mate

check in modifications
if not, do it, send to admin (or post) and yeh they will decide

but no harm in doing it


take plenty of pics

caus i need to know, i did mine but its dark and cant see it at day time

Yeah I would be cuz my LED glboe lights dont fit in there to work properly enough.

yeah mate it would be great if you could! I for one has been wanting to do this mod for a long time, and by the time I had the free time, the Fordmods, along with the docs, went down :cry:

I have done the mod the blue didn't work because there is not enough light. So i have done red i will put some pics up later.

And i know there is a doco on it but there is no pics. On how to pull apart the clock/trip comp

The filter paper you put in is a key factor in how much light gets through. Too thick and the lamp will not be strong enough to penetrate and diffuse the light properly. Too think and it will far too bright. Try experimenting with the amount of filter paper and see what it looks like in the dark.

you know how thick paper is in magazines (the thin one)
thats what i got....
and not visible in light, only at night

what size LED did u use? i would recommend one of those super bright ones
