Ok guys, gettin my head done in the next week or so, also, whilst head is off, im going to get my cam done, the only thing is, I dont know which to get.

I want one that is good on low end and also good up top end, if theres such a thing.

Car is stock as a rock atm, but that will soon be changing.

Wanting to know which you guys recomend and what sort of price i would be expecting to pay.

Also, if doing this, will i need any comp mods? eg diff one?

Thanks.

mate if u wanted a good cam, i would go with Jays RPD upgrade 3 or R6 meant for low torque and good midrange, i got quoted $550.

that would be your best bet maybe, thats what i will be going.

speak to the people who sell the cams, tell them what you want and discuss it with them... and they will be able to point you in the right direction.

everyone has an opinion on what brand / spec cam is best, but speak to the people who sell the cams, tell them what you want and discuss it with them... and they will be able to point you in the right direction.

as i told you when i saw you a few days ago, look around idd go a wade profile, cos you have many choices there, and they are proven to work.

Auto or manual?
Do you mind having to get uprated valve springs?
It's really hard to just say 'get this cam'.
Going really roughly of what you'd said so far, and from which cams I've had experience with (not that many), I'd put a wade 1636 on your list.

you'll need extractors and a 2.5 zorst or the cam will only give 50% of what it should trying to force gas out that can't go anywhere
