Not sure about your local area but usually just ads in the trading post here in SA for the mobs that fit airbag/hydraulic suspension.

Are you aware of the legalities involved with these type of suspensions? are you also aware of your current social status compared to what it will be when you have a ford with bags in it? can you PLEASE use the money for something more decent?

But if you do really wanna go for it, then try the low lux forums, Im sure there are some. They probably have the most experience with these systems.. I know there are different stage ones... not just from NFS Underground 2, but I remember a guy was telling me that at first he got manual pump up shocks, then he added an air compressor, then something else... anyway, have fun.

Cheers (End of babble)

I am aware of the legalities associated with this particular modification. The application, however, is for a show car that is not ever intended to be registered on australian roads.

and just out of curiosity, if you saw an EA with pneumatic suspension at a car show in amongst a whole bunch of ricers and commonwhores.... taking everyones attention... wouldn't you get a warm fuzzy feeling about the social status of ford??

You know, Id much rather see a decent looking ford, which is in good condition, that puts out alot of power, and has lowered suspension... if I saw the above, and with pneumatic suspension I would turn away, and walk to something else. I would find it degrading to be trying to fit in with every other ricer and commodore. Pneumatic suspension is not exactly original, on a ford, yes, but it's not something that would give me a warm feeling.

And just out of curiousity, wouldn't you rather a ford that burns rice away, instead of a ford that can bounce up and down at a red set of lights?

I guess we just have different interests here.

Cheers

PS - I'm glad you're not registering or driving around this car, and that it is only for show. If its a competition you are winning against ricers, than I guess this is one way to go.
