hey guys,

just wondering what size screen fits in where your headdeck usually goes.

Reason im asking is im goin to get a spare fascia and make up a surround for it like was done by someone with the portable dvd player (couldnt remember who  ) and i can get really good screens for $160 but they aren't supposed to fit in din slots (they're headrest screens). Would 7in fit in? or would i be looking a bit smaller?

cheers nick

I bought the alpine W200E if you want to look it up on their website
its a 6.5in screen and it fits very well, problem is there is about a 2mm gap around the unit so i will have to cover that up between the unit and the plastic double din surround
a 7in screen really shouldnt have any problems because i fit the screen and the surrounding plastic area right in the double din hole

Have a look on the pioneer website. They have a new product on there that is a screen to fit double din and it is touch screen and all that stuff. I haven't seen it in real life but if it fits it would be pretty awesome.
