$30 is a bargain and u should buy that one, however ford havent made them obselete because i fitted a new genuine one to an NL fairlane today[/quote]

Oh ok, I rang the ford dealership here and after checking they told me that ford have made them obsolete.

I know of an Auto elec in the country that offers the customer 2 prices to replace the blend door servo. 1: the full removal of the dash and refit (approx 8hrs labour) or 2:cut out a small panel behind the glovebox to gain access to blend soor servo (2hrs labour) He says almost all opt for the second quote as the only way to see the cut out panel is if the whole glovebox is removed which none of us really do.

Hmmm that sounds interesting, I'll keep that in mind.

any more deatils on the 2nd option joolz, i've got the e2 error and just went through winter with no heater, not fun, really cold actually.

Pretty sure AUs ran the same style Blend Door Motor, so id find it hard to believe they've been discontinued.

I know theres been a couple of versions, so maybe he'd been only looking at the older ones.
