Anyone know how to remove the drivers and passenger side vents ? Can't see how you get them out. I've got the same out of a new Fairlane with the little chrome bits on that I want to install. Already done center dash and rear console vents, also swapped door handles for chrome Fairlane ones. Looks good so far, just need to swap these front ones and I'll be happy ! |

which part are you trying to get off, The air con vents, or the spears that are on the dash which also have a vent? You have to pull the plastic trim off the side of the dash(the part that the door covers). There is a clip in here that comes off (its a part of the dash spear), then simply pull the spear off, it has the same clips as the rest of the interior. the upper aircon vent will unscrew. Hope this helps, i did the job a while ago and i think this is correct

hi jarrid
how do the side plastic trims ( covered by the door ) come off ? Can't find any clips or screws ? guess by the spears you mean the long wood grain bits that run under the dash it's the drivers and passenger side air con vents ( complete ) next to the doros that I'm trying to remove. |

sorry for the slow reply, but i just used a butter knife and popped it off. you have to take the woodgrain spears off, as there are screws behind it that hold the air-con vents. Sorry but it is really hard too explain
