Just thought I would let everyone know that removing the clutch fan on my 5l has finaly made me crack and is PISSING ME OFF!!!
Helpful suggestions appreciated. |

just a tip.. did you know that they are left handed thread... so you might be turning it the wrong way.. |

My Max Ellery manual confirms that the nut on a 8cyl is a right hand thread. When I did one on a six I just used a large pair of vice grips on the nut, and a length of pipe which went over the handle of the vice grips. I jammed a screwdriver or socket handle in the belt and it came loose.

same here , funnie thing is i used a big hammer n chisel to get mine off CBF making up the tools

ef thermos are in and working well, and it only took me 8 hours (sarcastic) (4 hours more than it should have done).

MRE-50L, you should put that spanner in the tech docs forum. Yeah well Dave & Rob could do it! Rob did mine in less then 2hrs but I spose when mine was done he had performed 5 conversion it would be PISS EASY
