Just thought I would let everyone know that removing the clutch fan on my 5l has finaly made me crack and is PISSING ME OFF!!!

Helpful suggestions appreciated.

My Max Ellery manual confirms that the nut on a 8cyl is a right hand thread. When I did one on a six I just used a large pair of vice grips on the nut, and a length of pipe which went over the handle of the vice grips. I jammed a screwdriver or socket handle in the belt and it came loose.

same here , funnie thing is i used a big hammer n chisel to get mine off CBF making up the tools

ef thermos are in and working well, and it only took me 8 hours (sarcastic) (4 hours more than it should have done).

MRE-50L, you should put that spanner in the tech docs forum.

Yeah well Dave & Rob could do it!
Rob did mine in less then 2hrs but I spose when mine was done he had performed 5 conversion it would be PISS EASY :lol:
