Well, got a call from the Panel beaters today, it was supposed to be ready for pickup this afternoon, but the NRMA only authourised repairs using second hand parts. The supplied rear bumper was shot, and the rear beaver had rust. My panel beater being the top bloke he is told them to get stuffed, they were not going on my car. Whilst we are waiting for these parts to tuen up, it is across the road at the exhaust shop getting a new exhaust from the Y peice back. 3in goodness with a single muffler and a 3 in chrome tip.
At least the assessor is coming to the party, and a new beaver and rear bar are being supplied from Ford.
Jees i miss my car. Looks like another 2 days til it is back in my hands. I have driven it less than 100k's since July 17 this year

Yeah it sucks being without your car, when my misses smacked my car in her garage door ages ago it was in the pannel shop for like 3months! and I had to drive around in a sigma, ghheeeyyy

i had my altenator replaced a few months ago and i was without my car for 3 days, it sucked

i didnt have my car on monday this week cause my window fell down and that sucked!!!! i feel for ya mate

Cause it still hasn't been tuned, and the cam isnt in. Joes is snowed under and just doesnt have time to tune it. To give you an idea of how bad the EMS tune is, try less than 190k out of a tank around town, and just on 400 on the highway.

insurance just want to do everyone over and make more money for themselves!! but i just got my car fixed and if i did it though insurance it would have been expensive second hand parts instead of the cheap excellent parts i got!!
