Through SSV i got quoted $635 bucks unpainted. painting it would set you back about $100-$200.

Its a two person job to fit the new bar only to make sure that it doesnt get scrateched when you put it on.

To remove.

1. take out indicators. (held in by one screw.
2. Undo two 15mm bolts on the reo bar (reinforcement bar) on both the left and right hands side. The reo bar is what the plactic bar is bolted too.
3.undo 13mm bolt on both left and right sides that holds the side tabs of the bar on.

4.disconnect horn.
5.remove front bar in one go.

refitting is the same procedure just reversed.

I did mine on the weekend and it took about 30 mins to swap them over.

It's only a one man job... I had mine on and off easily when i put some mesh in.

But are you missing something Andrew? I also have two nice little bolts just behind the front splash guards in the wheel arch (one each side) to remove.
