picked up the au yesterday from Ierace Automotive who installed the crane 2030 cam - they did a really nice job. cost more than i initially expected but the work was good quality so not complaining.
how much does the idle settle down once the computer learns properly (or in this case once the gas is tuned properly)? At the moment the whole car rocks at idle - i love it - hope it doesn't settle down too much although yesterday it seemed like it might be hard to cold start without it keeping on stalling so will need to find some compromise probably.

took it up to Rage Racing for the straight-gas injection install. he said an EL V8 he did recently did 14.6 1/4 before the gas and 14.4 after it so i'm hoping for big things out of this :D

very happy so far - even now with the computer not running the cam right, it pulls strong to the redline whereas before it had nothing past about 4500...

Geoff

Excellent. How much more poke does it have with the cam in it?

Can't wait to get mine all done.

How good is Ierace Automotive?

it doesn't have as much punch as i expected (eg holding 2nd at 3K rpm and floor it doesn't seem any better than before but i assume its gotta get tuned properly (or wait for the computer to learn)before the cam will work at its best???
as i said before though it feels strong all the way to the redline whereas before it didn't.

very happy with Ierace - would definitely go back to them...
