hello,
ive got a 1994 ed falcon GLI. and im getting my engine rebuilt i have $4000 to spend all up on the engine rebuild can some 1 give me a good idea on the mods i should be getting done to get a 14 - 13.5 sec car ...the engine is a stock 4l at the moment with pod fliter, extractors n exhaust 2 1/2" ... soo if any 1 could give me a good list on what to get done would be aweseom thanks Angelo |

13.5s ur gonna need forced induction or alot more money, for getting it into the 14s you could prob get around 14.5 and a lil lower, with manual all the normal exhaust mods cam, head work, and a nice ratio lsd.

You'll get torque, power, a nice sound and a smooth cruiser. Economy not much different either. |

A 13.8 was run in an ED with a stock 2nd hand AU + surecam cam, chiptorque, exhaust, manual and diff gears. $4k should cover those mods

his on ford forums.com.au its only pushin about 160rwkw he rekons and his runnin a t5z spec box and 3.9 or 4.11 cant remember exactly...

might be possible my mates got simlar mods but stock gears n diff he runs 15 flat |

No your far better off with an AU XR6HP motor.. will only cost like 1200 bucks or something. Cam and chip for 1k, diff and gears 1k and the rest on the niggly other bits and then u will have a low 14 second car, maytbe a high 13. |
