I had pacey extractors and a 2.5inch lukey exhaust system put on my au ute.Now they put an oval muffler on in the middle and a resonator on the back.Sounded nice and loud ,but i had too much droning noise and the back window viabrated in the cab.Idled nice ,no probs.I took it back and told the guy the problem and he took the resonator off and put a round sports muffler on the back.Is alot quieter, but purrs nice. The problem i got now is im getting viabration through the steering wheel when under load abot 50% of the time.it comes and goes. The exhaust guy said my engine was missing. So my mechanic looked at it and said it wasnt and its not.Went back and was told its the harmonics that is causing the viabration. Now underneath nothing is touching ,brackets are all in the rubbers properly. The thing that gets me is ,it didnt do it with the resonator on ,only when they changed it for a muffler.any ideas appreciated.

umm get the mech to go over all the parts. the exhaust shop may have knocked something, but doesnt want to fix it. could be the reason for the vibrations. could be anywhere on the steering rack.
