whats the go with the ef/el rebuild kits, what would be different to the eb/ed kits??? would i be able to use the ef one on my ed engine or are they different..... i always thought that the actual short motor was the same

any knowlegde would be great

EF/EL kits have smaller dish in the pistons, higher comp.

Off the top of my head the only thing that comes to mind that wont fit is the rocker cover gasket.

short motor yer same, timing cover, rocker cover and rocker cover bolts seals are all diffrent by memory

i was actually told to buy an AU kit for my ED motor as the head gasket was 2x thicker
