looking really good.

so good it makes the oil filler cap look crap coz its all dirty/faded. should give that a paint too

the oil cap isnt actually faded, its just got mega sun glare on it there, but i do want to replace it with a polished/chrome cap of some sort if i can find one.

You can buy new coolant resovoirs from Ford for like $25 I think. Then put a strip of tape on him and paint it, and when you peel the tape back you have a small looking hole for seeing the level!

(P.S. I'm n00b to cars, so that may occur to you as stupid, if so, notify me politely :P)

Try $135 from Ford for a AU !

to clean your overflow tank a bit, take it off with the cap on, turn it upside down and fill with vinegar. leave to soak, empty, rince andrepeat if needed, it will not come back to mint but it will clear the scum up a bit.

You are right about the Ford price ... the AU one was $135 when i last looked a few months back.

another good method is to put sand in it a give it a good shake, the sand will errode the grime a little bit
