having a read thru this post there are a few questions I might have to ask?

Are the brakes working normally at any other time?

Dont EA's have less power than EF-EL's?

has anyone thought that it could be a master cylinder problem?

My advice is simple..... if there is problems with the brakes GET IT CHECKED OUT PROPERLY! if you want to replace those parts all well and good if and only if you know what you are doing.

well thats my 20 cents worth, I'll go hide in my corner now.

he's got a point actually.

if the rotors are shot, replace them. and then take it to the nearest brake and clutch shop.

and your better off getting a mechanic to put those on for you with the next service

yeah....i might be able to put the rotors in and pads...but that it...might send it to my mechanic to put it in.

yeah i know EAs have less power but on the EA i still managed after having the rpm at about 2000 or something...on the EL its at 1000....or so...anymore then that and it starts to roll and the brakes start to make noises...i know for sure my rotors are gone and hopefully my master cylinder is in good nick. But yea it did cross my mine that EA had less power but ive seen many people do the BRAKE and accelerate to get off the line quicker without the car rolling much...and the guy that drove the car did say the brakes weren't gripping well. ill get them checked before the drags

cheers

phong =P~
