Howdy,

I have a couple of stone chips on the bonnet that are really giving me the s**t and was thinking about using the Ford touch up paint thats supplied with the car manual.

Anyone recommend against doing this?

Am I just better off to have the bonnet re-sprayed?

My mother used it on her Heritage Green Falcon, and it looked rough, but better.

Those places that fix up all the stone chips and stuff arent that expensive I think.

I wouldn't use it on highly visible parts of the car, having said that I used it to paint my EF door handles, have also used it to paint the plastic bit below the windscreen.

if you can get a respray for cheap do it. the touchup paint looks "OK" on white, but colours it looks f**k.
