I have read the doco and pulled out my ashtray and cant work out what to tap into to wire it up. It was mention that it was a 7 pin centre console connector? I couldn find it from the explanation. What does it look like? Or where else could I wire it from?

If the Gli has a ignition key illumination light then across that.

Quote:
This will mean that the Wire for the Footwell lamp will need to be run from the Centre Console Connector, located underneath the Radio, behind the Cigarette Lighter.
This connector has 8 Pins, with only a couple pins used for wiring purposes.
The Wire colours required are ,
# Black/Blue (Switched to Ground by the BEM to turn the Lamps on)
# Green/Yellow (Connected to the 10Amp Interior Illumination Fuse)
These are located on the second column of the connector, just above and below one another.

It's easy mate.. look harder.

once you've taken the surround out, have a look at the bottom to the right.. there should be a connection of wires that's clipped down onto part of the dash or something.. (it's hard to move).. unclip it and disconnect the wires.. then just do what's in the doco..

just keep looking mate, you'll figure it out. i did mine just by following the doco.

When the rear courtesy light is wired in for the centre console, run the footwell lights off those wires. That should help. It is a rectangular plug on the RHS of the dash where the centre console and dash meet.
