Im trying to install a headunit into my sisters hyundai excel (99 model). Have removed all screws i can find and it wont move...... The bottom half will pull out a bit but the top is wedged in. Is it just a matter of levering the top out with a screwdriver. Just dont want to break it getting it out.

Yeah mate, I also own a Lantra (similar but bigger) and found it seemed to be stuck too, but if you follow the heater knob cable down, it should join to a lever near drivers footwell (clutch side) which won't let it budge. Should be a screw and little cap holding cable with lever in place. Undo that and should give you enough room to pull dash back to fit radio, but you don't need to remove completely (changed three headunits like that and worked out ok).
