bling factor.. lol ... umm why its just a cap lol...most ppl dont actually know what one is or what it does/ is used.

I have a $1300 RF 25 Farad one in my install and its hidden apart from the voltage display..

most caps arent exactly spiffy lookin things...

yeh duide from what I can find out AUs were all fitted standard across the model range with a 100/110A alternotr so this is more than enough for your application....Id be lookin at first cable sizes but just do that anyway....manin thing I feel is that 6yr old battery ...time for that to go...and get replaced with something new...if you dont wanna spend big and go like an oddyssey or optima type batter for round $300+ then look at like the bosch long life Gold for bit over or round the $100 mark...or a decent century equivalent both are good batteries...look for ones with large reserve capacities like 120hrs and high CA values dont be so concerned with the CCA value as just about all are adequete.

Exide - Orbital is a good battery like Optimas and Odysseys, but cheaper. Also Delkor apparently make a cheap deep cycle battery.

well if your gonna go to the effort of taking it somewhere like a good car audio joint...then if the guys in there know enough about what there on about ...when they upgrade ya cable(which is a good choice imo) get em to fire up ya system ... crank it up with a bass disc or something that will push ya subs and equipment ...hopefully the dimming happens (maybe fixed with the large cable guage) and if it does see what they think and what theyd recommend.

They may say no dont spend on a battery do this or this...come back here if ya want a 2nd opioion b4 following their advice too if ya like....well good luck with it dude hope ya get rid of all the dimming/flashing...no one wants an electrical disco goin on in their ride whilst ya trying to enjoy some trik noise :P
