hey all

i am having a problem with my cruise control when i set it it stays for a couple of seconds and then it tkaes off and i have to switch it off to drop speed the set starts ok and the coast and rst dont work is it the button or maybe something else

take the bottons out..lever them out and clean undernieth,,easy..

nah i actually changed them same thing it will hold for a while then accelerate and not back down and when i hit the rst or coast switch t accelerates more

Check if the Vent solenoid is working. If its blocked it cant slow down.

Also check if the wiring to the vent solenoid is ok.

take the steering wheel off and clean the contacts on the back of it,,spread a little bit of vasaline on them and put it back on,,thats what i had to do with mine...

hi still having the problem i changed the switches i took the steering wheel off and cleaned the contacts etc etc still nothing i have had the car for 2 weeks when i got it it worked but after that no go and i havent changed or touched anything except the steering wheel stuff whic one is the vacuum servo the one on the passenger side or drivers side or maybe do you think it could be the computer

dont know im stumped
any help would be great
