What were they like? Better or worse than Konis? I have got some prices for them as well as Konis for my EL XR8. Does anyone know if these Bilsteins are adjustable and if so in what way (rebound, height etc.) and can they be adjusted on the car? The part numbers are Front B46-1053 and Rear B46-1262. The part numbers for the Konis are Front KO8241-1153SPORT and Rear KO8041-1067SPORT. So the real question here is which ones??

Bilstein shocks are meant to be the best...since they are put into high speed cars or luxury cars usually. Haven't heard anything crap about them. Only praise.

From reading on here I have a feeling people prefer the Bilsteins over the Konis. Thing is the prices I got for these shocks the Konis were a fair bit more than the Bilsteins. Thats why I was wondering if these part numbers are the good ones and whether they are adjustable at all.

Also would these be shortened shocks? Would they suit King Spring Superlows?

Got Koni adjustables up front and Bilstiens out back.
When I come to change the front shocks again I will go for Bilstiens.

the bilstiens i fitted were for lowered springs , i also think they also has to positions for the lower spring sadle so you could lower it even more by an inch - not 100% sure as it was over 12 months ago i did it

Just got an email back from the place that priced them up for me. Apparently the bilsteins aren't adjustable but can be revalved to whatever you want whereas the Konis are adjustable on the car. Does anyone with the adjustable shocks ever actually adjust them anyway? Or is just wank factor? ie "look at my shocks, fully adjustable, fully sik!" The dude in the email says that the konis would be better suited to me being adjustable. Think i still would prefer the bilsteins though.
