Hey guys,
Im currently looking at putting a Crow 2222543 cam in my XR-6 , it runs on LPG 2222543 IN.24/68 Dur 272 0.75" Dur 209 Valve Lift .500" 1800rpm EX.70/18 Dur 269 0.75" Dur 207 Valve Lift .485" 5500rpm The vehicle is a manual with 2.45 diff ratio and the rev range of this cam seems to suit my expected range Will i have problems because i cant advance timing without a edit due to it being a EF and having coil packs Do i need the double valve springs and vernier timing kit , Also has anyone used this cam and got any feedback, dont realy want to use a wade and shim it up Thanks guys Ash |

ive just bought a slightly bigger cam than that and im told it will run on gas, so you should be fine there, dep on condition/tuning.
i would suggest getting a vernier gear as it makes install easier and helps fine tuning the cam. with that sort of lift a set of springs would be very handy, don't need double ones, i got doubles and just used the bigger coil. if you want to use doubles you will need the head machined to suit the springs, so not really worth it. hope it helps.
