Is that Australia wide or do the states have different ones?

its pretty obvious to the naked eye if you know what 35 looks like.

they also have light meters at the inspection stations, if the cops decide that it may be a little to dark

I have been told that of you put tint on top of tint it looks dark but when the cops check it on the light it come out like normal, is it possible.

darkest legal is 35% i was considering going darker but the person who done my tint advised me against it! saying that insurance companies are testing tints in car accidents where you are at fault and not paying because of the illegal tint!
35% is plenty dark enought...i have trouble seeing out the back at night with no streetlights! would be terrible with 20%! and tint is an awesome mod...when i jump in my parensts car with no tint it feels sooooo much lighter and almost feels harder to driver cuase your used to not so much light when driving during the day...!
