neway with the wireing harness what will i have to do to it for it to fit in the eb . ie what plugs do i need to change and what will i need to run to where to get the bbm working right?

here is a few pics of the loom that came with the motor can ppl please tell what plugs r what and what goes where. or ne wireing diagrams would be of great use.

mate i've done what you've done... that is el xr motor into a box car....

I reused my EB engine loom and just extended the bits that needed to be longer.. I then ran the extra wire to the ECU and the power wire for the BBM switch..

EDIT:::

Also .. remember to run the extra wire(s) for the knock sensor .. and make sure u dont "lose" your oil pressure sender wire.. i "lost" mine and once the motors in its not very easy to get to/mess with the loom...!!

the elxr ecu will plug straight into the exsisting loom right?

yeah the EL computer will go in (EF's wont) also you HAVE to have smartlock otherwise you WILL need a smartlock iliminator which are around 150 bucks

as for the wires im not sure which one runs the BBM switch

ok the TPS is apparently the only one that needs changing. the others fit straight in apparently. so cut the plugs so that you have plenty of wire length and colour match the plug. view my thread in my sig for pics
