Does anyone know what the difference is between a code 116 (ECT out of calibration), and the other two related faults 117 ECT low, and 118 ECT High?
I'm trying to find the source of my "dead spot" on cold startup/take off (which everyone seems to have). I am curious as to whether this code is something that should normally show up for a cold engine, or whether it is a true out of calibration fault thats neither directly closed or open circuit. Anyone know the difference?

Anyone know the difference? first of all the fault codes should only be checked at operating temp, only if your checking intimitent faults you can check when cold.
