i wanna put some splits in my front doors, just wondering how much messing around it will be with the factory sizes being 5x7 and will i be able to keep the factory speaker grilles? any advice apreciated.

IVe got a BA ute, Ive got MTX 6.5" splits in the doors with the tweeter on the mirrir backing.

Also got 6x9s in behind the seats in the panels. where 5x7's used to be allround, had it installed for me but the guys said it was no problem. fit str8 in.

rear rquired small baffle plate i believe

just make some brackets. really can't be hard.

yer i made brackets for the rears. the main concern was the extra depth that the bracket takes up might be an issue.
