The ash tray that doesn't cover the cigarette lighter hole, is that EF or EFII/EL style?

EF 1st series had the 'covered' lighter,
all from EF2 up had the cheapo (but more reliable)

agreed the series one was s**t IMO....sat in a few EFs1 and they were a b**ch to open..

shame they were so fragile, as the series 1 ones look much better

But impractical as you'd have the ashtray open when using the cigarette lighter - i use mine constantly as the car kit for the mobile phone is pluged into it.
