You would lose some scavenging effect and so on so the exhaust would not clear from the chambers as well.

Over all not the best idea as I mentioned earlier, but good for a laugh for only a short run.

Had a mate in the US do that with his 454ci monster engine. OMG was it LOUD. That thing broke windows in the shed on full song.

when i took mine for a run without the cat, everysingle piece of plastic inside the car was vibrating like f**k...... especially at 5500rpm :P

heh, reminds me .... did the same with the 1600 kent.... except... no headers and no carby (the manifold held fuel)

the loudest thing i ever heard straight out was my mates monster ported 13b(yeah yeah i know its japanese but by christ it was loud!!!)

I ran my 351 clevo with the headers off once... Straight out the block.. and it actually made your ears ring hard core, And i work in night clubs listening to loud music all the time...

Flames were awesome... House windows nearly came out... not so sure the engine was standard
