just had my springs put in (finally) and was told the shocks are on the way out (35 mil travel) and with the comfort spring is really nice and smooth actually, altho it sort of rocks after hitting a bump a little more then before.

anyway i was quoted 300 just for the front shocks (rears arn't too bad) and i dont think that included install. i'll do it myself but im not paying that much.

these the ones to get for an el? i know you can use them with lowered but is it a good price? dealt with this guy twice and first it was REALLY good and the other was REALLY bad. keep in mind it is a full set of four

I was recently quoted the following from
Supercheap Auto (Lismore NSW),
shocks for an EB sedan:

Koni Red
$540 for pair of fronts
$370 for pair of rears

Monroe GT
$236 for pair of fronts
$131 for pair of rears

Hope this helps with your research.

be very weary of those ones on ebay. monroe have different part numbers fopr there standard height and lowered shocks, that seller is claiming that theres are for both.

as long as they're standard thats all that matters. and the bastards took my car out to test it and scrapped the back bumper on the way out. C***

just to have an alignment and two front springs fitted cost 250!

not impressed
