I'll pick up the rest of the stereo next week hopefully. And get around to installing the week after.

I'm thinking with going the boot design #1:

Any opinions or suggestions guys?

Does anyone know if a Dynamat Bulk Pack, will do the boot & parcel shelf?

Cheers

do it so you manage to get everything showing in the boot, but do it neatly, number 4 would kick a**

It depends. If you don't really use your boot, go with number 3. If you do put suff in, number 4!

I was thinking of going number 1. But now I'm thinking of going with my original idea of number 3. I can always make up plates to go over the amps, and then put stuff on top of that.

Hopefully get the rest of my gear on Friday. Stereo will start, right after I've put in my new interior.

Yeah, I will be installing most of it myself. I'll keep you updated..

Thanks guys!

yeh i reckon 3 is the go unless u want ease of access to the spare and then go opt 4.

Looks good tho and good luck with the DYI project :D

I'm keeping my spare there. Amps will go above it, and the floor will be hinged, with maybe gas.

I need to look into trying to make the setup flexible, so it can be taken in and out. As I don't want it in, all the time. And if I go for #3, It's going to be fixed there, pretty much.

#1 I could be able to make it so, must of the stuff will come out.

But I suppose, with #3, you can just leave the amps & floor there, and pull the box and side pieces out.

Hrmm... thinking, thinking.. It's a hard choice.

what about you go with no four - but make up a custom boot lid area where you can mount that 6 inch speakers there would look sweet as when you open the boot lid!! and as always if money is on your side a nice screen could always go there!! ;)

I don't want to go all out on this. I just want a nice, clean install.

Here's my headunit, I'll get at the end of the week:

I'm pumped!

Installation is going to have to be put on hold for a couple weeks or so. I'm waiting on Alpine's BlueTooth Adapter, so I can install everything at once. I'm also trying to score a CD Stacker.

Keep you guys updated, later down the track :)
