coming home frm work today and had the car in 4th and went to put the foot down but the speed didnt pick up unitl bout 4000rpm and when it did it went very f**k slow, got around a couple corners pulled up.
checked the clutch cable, went to take off and the car wouldnt move at all, you could have the car running, have it in any gear and take the foot off the clutch and the car wouldnt stall or move????? WTF IS WRONG
could it be the input shaft, clutch or pressure plate, oph and remember when towing make sure the car is running or it will run up a island and go through a garden

my mate had this problem once and it turned out to be the clutch.
so i reckon it could be the clutch.

I had the diaphraghm collapse on my AU.
The actual clutch plate was fine but the spring that forces it up against the flywheel had died..

my pedal got really soggy, no force was needed to push pedal.
Had to flat change home.
Hope thats your prob because a pressure plate is cheaper than drive plate i think.

Clutch plate is probably rooted... better start asking around for prices on a clutch kit
