They list the power output gains from their cams on their website if you want to know what sort of gain you will get from one.

They quote 146rwk with the DEV3HL package and mine made 149.2rwkw on a Tas dyno. Pretty close.

If you want to know what they are like, ask someone who has a DEV5. Mark (red ELXR6) has a DEV5 in his.

No one is disputing they make good cams downingj, you can stop defending them now :D

I know

its funny how businesses insult people... saying you wont understand them...

what if you have a modified motor and the DEV5 cam wont work in it but they make you pay 500 for it even tho it wont work or possibly blow your motor (depending on whats done)

i think for me to buy a cam the specs MUST be provided even if i dont understand them.

if i was to buy a JMM cam and they refused totell me the specs (i would be there to BUY one not inquire) then id just simply walk out and post them a copy of the WADE reciept. (which would be where i went)

When i had my DEV5 kit it rang JMM and asked for specs, he wouldnt tell me. Rattled off some s**t that the specs wouldnt make sense as falcon motors lift in a different fashion to a normal motor. Such a f**k that man....

i'm running a DEV 4 cam in my car and it seems to be ok, nothing spectacular but it seems to pull hard right through the rev range. I have run a best of 14.8 @92 with the DEV 4 not dialled in, but i'd have to take my car to JMM to have that done as they won't give out the specs. I'll probably upgrade to someothing a bit bigger when I get my head worked.
